SCHOLARSHIPS : AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION

 1.         Air Force Association (AFA) has instituted following additional scholarships, as per the criteria and eligibility conditions mentioned against each, from 2010-11 session onwards.

 MRS KAMLA KARIR SCHOLARSHIP FUND : (sponsored by Gp Capt Brij Mohan Karir (Retd)

    Two scholarships of Rs. 4000/- each per annum, to the wards of    Ex-Air Force Personnel / widows, will be awarded to the girl students of Class XI / XII  

SHRI KUNDAL LAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND :        (sponsored by Ex-Cpl Vijay Dhall

One scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per annum, to the wards of Ex-Air Force Personnel / widows, will be awarded to the student of Class XI / XII on means and merit basis.

 PRIME MINISTER SCHOLARSHIP

SCHOLARSHIP FOR WARDS OF EX-IAF PERSONNEL AND WIDOWS

Applications for award of following three Scholarship Funds for wards of Ex-IAF personnel/widows are to reach Air Force Association (Head Office) New Delhi by :-October end every year.

      (a) Mrs and   Sqn Ldr Pritam Singh (Retd) Scholarship Fund :-  Three scholarship, each of Rs.600/- pm, will be awarded to  students of Class-XI/XII and two scholarships for Class X as per criteria for the period of two years and shall coincide with  academic year, under the following priority:-  (Total 05 Scholarships)

        (i)  Orphaned Children of Ex-IAF Personnel/widows.

        (ii)  Wards of all other Ex-IAF Personnel.

      (b)   Sri Venketeswara Scholarship Fund   One Scholarship each of Rs.250/- will be awarded to students of Class - IX and X for the period of two  years and shall coincide with academic year.

     (c)  Mrs Suwarna Chaudhary Scholarship Fund

One scholarship each of Rs.4000/- each shall be awarded per annum to the eligible girl students of classes eleventh and twelfth as per the eligible criteria.
