Presently, Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh DFC is the President
Emeritus of the Association.

President Emeritus was conferred PhD (Honoris Causa) by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on 01 May 2005 at its 31st Annual Convocation.

Senior Vice President, AFA

Air Marshal KS Chaturvedi PVSM VSM (Retd) was commissioned in the IAF on 07 Jul 1969 as an AE(L) Officer.  During his 39 years of service Air  Marshal held many important appointments, which include Air Officer Commanding, AMSE, Dy SMSO, HQ MC, SMSO, HQ TC, AOM and AOC-in-C, HQ MC. He retired from IAF on 31 Mar 2007 from HQ MC, IAF.

Air Marshal KS Chaturvedi PVSM VSM (Retd) has taken over as Senior Vice President with effect from 16 Apr 2007.

Vice President, AFA

Air Marshal VK Tiwari (Retd), a Post Graduate in Electronics was commissioned in the IAF on 04 Apr 1966 as an AE(L) Officer.  During his 37 years of service Air Vice Marshal held many important appointments, which include Station Commander AF Station High Grounds, SMSO, SAC and CAC and PD (Eng 'A') at Air HQ (VB).  Alumni of National Defence College, in his service he has done many service courses which includes Senior Defence Management Course and MiG-23(OH) Course from USSR.  He retired from IAF on 31 Oct 2003 as ACAS Sigs (Air) Air HQ.

Air Vice Marshal VK Tiwari (Retd) has taken over as Vice President with effect from 16 Apr 2007.

Secretary, AFA

Gp Capt PK Agnihotri (Retd) joined the Association as Secretary on November 2009.  He is a double post graduate in Physics, Individual Relations and Personnel Management and was commissioned in the IAF in 1975 in Logistics Branch. He has to his credit two books published which were selected by Ministry of Defence under National Defence Fund and publication of article/poems in National Defence magazines / Newspapers including Flight safety magazine of Indian Air Force.  He ha served in various capacities with last posting in Central Organization ECHS as Director Procurement & Fund Control.
